The Noord pillow is an oversized version of the classic sofa pillow. Small pillows are great for decoration, but nothing can compete with oversized, structural pillows for comfort. That’s why we fill our pillows with Piumafil instead of down or foam. Down is too soft and foam lacks the flexibility you need. Piumafil gives you the softness you want yet the comfort and support you need.

Natural, biodegradable Piumafil gives our pillows their soft yet supportive feel perfect for resting or leaning.
We source our fabrics from some of the best European mills. Our Italian and Scandinavian fabrics feature contract-grade durability with rub counts of up to 100,000. We also offer an exclusive range of genuine leather covers from tanneries that put eco-friendly practices first. Fully removable and easy to replace and clean, our covers are ideal for those who enjoy style changes or are prone to accidents.

A Milan-based industrial designer, Robin Rizzini is dedicated to developing seamless residential and office furniture that strikes the right balance between decorative and technical elements. Rizzini has won numerous awards, including the Compasso d’Oro, Neocon Gold Award and German Design Award.
How do you design for today’s dynamic lifestyle?
It’s really about understanding the functional needs - how at one moment the sofa is used to chill in front of the TV, the next moment to work, then at a party with more friends than the sofa can fit.
What was the biggest challenge in designing Noord?
The level of modularity is very sophisticated. It was a challenge to achieve this level of interchangeability and seamless technical solutions while ensuring a clean and essential look. We had to go several rounds on the technical design to achieve the airy look and feel of the Magic Box.
Tell us about the Magic Box?
This was really a working title that stuck with the collection. It encapsulates our vision to make the sofa seamlessly connected, providing wireless charging just where you need it and a combined table top and storage space.
